Rick Springfield and Pat Benatar are making plans to hit the road. The two performers have announced ten shows on their "Together Live" trek, with more stops expected to be added.
As it stands the tour will begin in Atlanta, Georgia on June 28th, and wrap up in Saratoga, California on July 25th. Springfield tells Billboard.com he's "always thought" he and Benatar would make a great pairing "with the boy/girl thing," especially since they both have "high energy rock and roll shows."
Rick adds that the tour is "a kind of complete circle thing." He explains that he would hear Pat's "Heartbreaker" on the radio as he worked on his major label debut, "Working Class Dog," and Benatar's guitarist -- and future husband -- Neil Giraldo played on Rick's hit "Jessie's Girl." Rick also points out that in the early '80s both he and Pat worked at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles with producer Keith Olsen.
